BMW 7-Series 2012 Use Carbonfibre


MUNICH - The latest generation of BMW 7-Series will use carbonfibre materials in its construction. Leakage is expressed directly by BMW development chief Klaus Draeger.
After launching varoan i3 and i8, BMW trying new things to make the solid model BMW. This technology will be used to further suppress the weight of the car by using lightweight materials.

Draeger said the structure of the new BMW 7-series will use a mixture of carbonfibre, aluminum and steel. Carbonfibre and aluminum used to make cars lighter weight.

BMW 7-Series is expected to be present with 8-speed gearbox that replaces the new ZF 6-speed automatic. This new model is scheduled to debut in early 2012.

It is estimated that at least part of the car may use the carbon fiber is part of the roof, bonnet and bootlid. The most fitting that side fitted carbonfibre materials.
