Mazda RX-9 Rumored Uses Hybrid Rotary Engine

Mazda will soon launch RX-9, a successor to the  RX-8 with a hybrid concept. According to a recent report from Motor Trend, which states that Mazda will borrow from Toyota's hybrid technology to achieve these goals.

The story became a small boost in the credibility of the 2011 agreement between the two companies will create Zoom-Zoom models go and sounds a bit like the Prius. At the time the deal was signed, it was announced that the first car that uses technology borrowed will arrive in 2013. So, from the Prius to the Mazda RX-9 in 2 years'? We have to wait and see.

Motor Trend also said a new sports car will indeed be a sports coupe that does away with reverse-opening rear doors that support the conventional arrangement. This platform will be shared with the MX-5, making it the world boxing hybrid rear wheel drive sports for the mass market.

"Smaller, lighter, cleaner, more fuel efficient, and more fun to drive. That's where we want to take the car the next round," said the insider source, who hinted at the end of 2013 debut.

It was nice to hear that the successor to the Porsche RX-8 will be a hybrid.
